SNOWSTORM

First comes the snowstorm
Heavy and bright
Covering up everything
In its immaculate white
Unexpected beauty
Slowing down time

But then you step on it
And the darkness starts
Black footsteps
Slippery
Melting dirty ice

You were just like a snowstorm
Assaulting my life
Heavy and urgent
Falling in time
Brightening up things
That I had left behind

But as soon as I stepped on it
You faded into dark
You melted
Slippery
Breaking my heart
